What Servana checks, and what it records

Letting someone into your home is not a small thing. Here is what Servana actually does about it — and what it does not claim.

Before a provider takes work

Onboarding and review

Providers submit documents, and Servana reviews them

Identification and credentials are uploaded during onboarding and reviewed before a provider is approved for work. A document being uploaded is not the same as it being verified — approval is a separate step.

Work is matched to what a provider is qualified for

A provider is only assigned to services they have been approved for, in areas they cover.

Assignment and acceptance are recorded

Who was assigned, when they accepted, when work started and when it finished are all recorded against the booking.

Conversations belong to the booking

Messages about a job are tied to that booking, so the context is there if something needs reviewing later.

There is a route to raise a problem

Support can see the booking record. Ratings and feedback after a job feed back into how providers are managed.

What Servana does not claim

Being specific about the limits is part of being trustworthy about the rest.

  • Servana does not claim that every provider has passed a criminal background check.
  • Servana does not guarantee service quality, arrival times, or a particular outcome.
  • Servana does not currently advertise insurance cover for work performed.
  • Servana does not hold a published security certification.
  • Refunds are handled case by case through support, not by an automatic guarantee.
Information: If something goes wrong with a booking, quote the booking reference to Servana support. Every booking has one, and it links to the full record of what happened.
